A fox hunt during Chester County Days. This was my first published image in photojournalism. I'd orginally been hired to do just darkroom work at the paper, but on this weekend there were too many assignments to be covered than staff available. After offering to cover it, the managing editor literally said "Well, having you do is better than not covering it at all ... TRY to come back with something." I must have done something right -- that same editor ran it on Page One at the largest size they'd ever published an image up to that time! After that, I was used as the main shooter for the paper.
