Crystal Geyser, Green River, UT -- I'd stumbled across this place a year earlier and spent two hours waiting for an eruption that never came. So this time I figured toss in a couple more hours since -- when it erupts -- it's supposed to shoot 60 or more feet in the air! About an hour into my vigil an "expert" arrives and, after making numerous time-checks to the flooding of the platform, bubbling and whatnot, declares she'll blow at 7pm! Hmmm ... about four hours from now ... what the hell, I'll wait. To make a long story short, I leave at 10pm and no eruption ... but a killer case of sunburn!
