Interesting Sign, Nevada City, MT -- Hey, I'm not
saying it was or wasn't ... but MOST extraordinary in HISTORY??? Just looking
at the last 100 years ... Over Scopes? Nuremberg? The Lindbergh Kidnapping?
Leopold & Loeb? Freakin' OJ? Momma Mia this must have been one doozie of a
trial here ... lol Okay, saved you having to googe it and learned "Ives was
tried and convicted of robbing and killing the popular young 'Dutchman' Nicholas
Tibalt. The trial took place outdoors on the frosty 21st day of December in
1863. The trial, conducted by prosecutor Wilbur Fisk Sanders, lasted three
days. Ives was hanged from the rafter of an unfinished building after the
jury deliberated less than an hour." wow ... extraordinary, huh?
